BASIC TOOLS FOR BEGINNERS CONTENT CREATORS:
It can be an overwhelming and confusing task for a beginner embarking on the journey into content creation.
This simple guide is meant to make the journey swift by assisting you to take those first steps. Below are the tools you need to shoot & upload your first video!
i. TRIPOD & MOUNT:
This helps to lock the camera to a set position. It also stabilize the camera and eliminate unnecessary shaking.
ii. LIGHTING:
Excellent lighting is essential for capturing clear videos devoid of blurs. Natural light is good but when unavailable, one can use ringlight or flashlight on phones/cameras.
iii. MICROPHONE:
A good looking video with terrible sound will be perceived worse than a horrible looking video with great sound. Using an external microphone makes a big difference in the sound quality of your videos, resulting in recordings that are both crisper and more polished.
iv. CAMERA OR PHONE:
The best advice when deciding between a phone and a camera, or really, any of the equipment on this list, is to use what you already have. Video production is a complicated process, and you'll find what's best for you by simply getting started and running into issues.
v. CHOOSE THE RIGHT HARDWARE & APPLICATION FOR EDITING:
As a beginner, it advisable to invest in a good phone or laptop that is capable of handling basic editing and uploading of your contents.
There are a handful of free video editing applications such as; Capcut, Video maker etc that make the workflow swift.
NOTE:
